Elonwabeni Children's Centre aims to create a nurturing environment in which our children feel safe and loved. We recognise that the child is best kept within her/his family structure.

When this structure proves to be malfunctioning, the child is placed in the temporary care of Elonwabeni Place of Care by the Department of Social Development. At the same time our Social Worker comes in alongside family members, assisting them to recreate the home environment best suited for the child. This is referred to as our Family Support Programme.

At Elonwabeni Children's Centre we - walk the talk!  We understand the effectivity of our work to be based on commitment towards the child and therefore the preservation of family life.
